On September 30, 2025, Ground Gurus proudly joined as a community partner for the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) PYLON Technology Business Incubator (TBI) event, “Pista ng Inobasyon: Isang Pagdiriwang ng Husay, Talino, Teknolohiya, at Pag-unlad.” Held at the esteemed PUP Bulwagang Balagtas Hall, the event was a powerful testament to the flourishing startup ecosystem being built right here in the Philippines.
A New Dawn for Innovation
The energy in the hall was palpable as the event began with the official launch of the PUP PYLON TBI Facility. The ribbon-cutting and blessing ceremony was a truly symbolic moment, marking a fresh beginning and signaling limitless possibilities for future Filipino innovators. We at Ground Gurus are honored to support a hub dedicated to nurturing technological brilliance.
Following the launch, the atmosphere shifted to celebration for the inaugural innovators. The first batch of pioneers, Cohort 1 of the PUP PYLON TBI, proudly marked their successful journey as completers with a meaningful pinning ceremony. These graduates are the first to carry the PYLON spirit forward—building startups, shaping groundbreaking ideas, and igniting genuine change. Cheers to these pioneers who have paved the way for many more cohorts to come!
Spotlights on Groundbreaking Solutions
One of the most awaited segments of the day was the Fireside Chat and Incubatee Spotlights, where we heard directly from the minds shaping tomorrow. Innovators from ElectrifAI, Vulppy, Costify, Anehan, and Cybernest Solutions offered a candid look into the challenges and triumphs of the startup journey. Their raw passion was contagious, matched only by the engaging pitches that followed, showcasing genuinely groundbreaking solutions. The future of the ecosystem is clearly in these capable hands!
The innovation continued at the startup exhibit, where the Cohort 1 incubatees proudly showcased their brilliant ideas and working prototypes. Attendees were given a firsthand look at the creativity, resilience, and brilliance behind their ventures. From the initial vision to the final prototype, these startups proved they are shaping tomorrow, today.

We were privileged to be inspired by the powerful and insightful addresses from key leaders in the technology and innovation sector. Engr. Ninaliza H. Escorial, Deputy Executive Director of DOST-PCIEERD, and Mr. Mark Anthony Ignacio, Tech Lead of NextGen Analytics, provided invaluable wisdom and vision. Their messages highlighted the critical importance of cross-sector collaboration and fueled the passion in the room, setting an aspirational tone for all who move the industry forward.
